| Timor-Leste, also known as East Timor, is a small island nation located in Southeast Asia. It occupies the eastern portion of the island of Timor, sharing land borders with Indonesia to the west and maritime boundaries with Australia to the south. It also includes the islands of Atauro and Jaco, as well as the exclave of Oecusse. East Timor recorded a population of 1,183,643 in its 2015 census. | |
